internet used car scam

There is a scam going on at SellMyCar.com I emailed a seller about a car and here is how the story goes. The seller has moved out of the country for their job so has no use for the car and just wants to sell it. Because they are "out of the country" the transaction needs to be conducted by a third party through the sellmycar.com secure transaction site. Supposedly the third party holds the money until the buyer receives the car and tells the third party it is okay to release the money to the buyer. It is a scam! I have all the correspondence saying it is my car and payment was received and there is no car. I reported it to the website, the FTC, the FBI and some news channels. I have gotten no response from anyone and I lost a large amount of money. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU or anyone you know. Please pass it on. Thank you

wow. I will make sure this gets spread around. Its like ebay, there is so much fraud there. I have articles on ebays site in the computer area on how to watch for fraud.
Sad thing with ebay is they do not police their own site. Thats from an email i got from them when I was inquiring about a few things. They rely on the users to report any auctions that might be fraud.
